You've spent months praying and your family is ready to start the process. But, where do you start? Domestic adoption, international adoption, foster care? Which agency should you use? How will you ever afford it? As an adoptive momma, I know how overwhelming this process can be. That's where I come in, as your consultant I will guide you through the entire process from start to finish. It's my joy to walk alongside families helping them to grow their family through adoption!
Here are some of the perks to working with a consultant:
- Families can expect a shorter referral time with couples on average waiting from 6-10 months. It's not uncommon to see home study ready families get matched within days or weeks of signing on with CAC.
- Our shorter referral times are due to our multiple agency approach. At CAC, we work with a nation-wide network of adoption agencies/attorneys in adoption friendly states. We also receive referrals from agencies in need of adoptive families.
- I will walk alongside your family from day one until your adoption finalizes, providing you with education and guidance throughout your entire process.
- Adoption can be expensive. I will direct your family to a wide variety of financial resources to assist with offsetting the costs associated with adopting.
- As a consultant, it's my job to provide personalized advocacy and assistance in finding the right agency and adoption situation within your budget. I will also provide advice on warning signs to help reduce the risks associated with adopting.
