Congratulations David and Laken!

David and Laken have a beautiful whirlwind adoption story!  This year they received the greatest and most unexpected gift for Christmas, a daughter!

 Over the summer, David and Laken announced their plans to pursue adoption to their families and friends.  Shortly into their adoption fundraising journey, I watched this gracious couple put their fundraising efforts on hold to help their close friend's raise funds and support for the husband’s unexpected diagnosis of a stage four brain tumor.  They trusted God's timing as they served their friend's in such a beautiful way.  

They officially started with Christian Adoption Consultants in September.  By the middle of December they were home study approved and were getting ready to apply to our multiple agencies.  ONE WEEK later they received the life changing call about a 2 month old baby girl who needed a family.  They said YES and trusted God to provide the finances.  Three days later their gorgeous daughter was in their arms forever!

What a joy it has been to walk alongside this family and watch the Lord faithfully unfold their adoption story in His perfect timing!
