Our last couple months have been so busy and I finally feel like I have a moment to catch my breath! So without further adieu, Haven's 1st birthday recap! Ben had to officiate a wedding on her birthday so we decided to celebrate the day after. The wedding was in Charleston which meant my family could all be there to celebrate with us. I loved planning for her party. Thanks to pinterest, I did all the decor and treats myself. I will include the links to the tutorials I used below.

I adore how her cake turned out! It was really easy, too! I followed this tutorial: http://onelittleproject.com/how-to-make-a-smash-cake-for-a-first-birthday/

I don't have a tutorial for the back drop. I was playing around with extra tissue garland that I had already cut to use for the garland. I ended up unfolding the cut tissue and using tape to stick it to a white sheet that we then hung from the fire place. It was super cheap and easy and I LOVE how it turned out!
I was determined to not spend much on her party because let's face it, she had no idea what was going on! But, this momma loves to craft and I had a lot of fun making these cheap and easy decorations and treats.
